Incredible techniques and amazing textures. Wow! I love the effect of the rice paper. It adds such a lovely soft print when combined with other techniques. Is that vellum I spot behind the fabulous cage? I say it often but I think it bears repeating, you are a wonderfully talented artist!
This entry in my art journal is based on the free tutorial by Sanda Reynolds. A few differences in the background, I added paper texture paste instead of modeling paste and added rice paper. The only thing I would change is not adding the paper texture paste to the upper right corner. Background mediums include Art Anthology sprays, IZink pigments and mica powders. Also, I added Prima waxes to frame the outside edge. The Cheery Lynn birdcage die cut is embossed with patina and gilding added in. The lace and fabric are tea dyed. The butterfly is Renea Bouquet. The bits of metal, seed beads and star are from Pam (thank you). I will definitely reuse these techniques again. TFL
