I stared at the stamped images for a long time before tackling one. How to color an elephant? I was extremely cautious at first and the first images were a lot lighter than the later ones.

Another difference had to do with the side of the paper I used. I stamped some on the smooth side, and the colors blended very well. The ones I stamped on the rough side had a completely different look due to the paper's texture. I like both, but I prefer the easy blending afforded by the smooth side. The second and fifth cards were stamped and colored on the rough side of the paper.
