You should be impressed by this! I love the simplicity of this lo because it doesn't take the focus away from the picture or the letter! I really like that flag, is it a sticker or a cut-out? Again, I think this is so cool!!

This is something I kind of 'threw' together.. I'm not at all impressed by it and I really couldn't get 'INTO' it! BUT...

This is a LO I did for my son, who received a hand addressed 'welcome to the country' card from the White House after he was born. I really liked that, and wanted to scrap it, along with a photo and short bio on the man that was in office when Mason was born. I did the same basic thing for Ashli when she got her card from the White House.

I also hand wrote a short note to Mason, and stuck it inside the envelope that the card originally came from and attached a ribbon pull with tag to my note. The note reads:

Mason,
How lucky you are to be born into this great country! You have the right and the freedom to be whatever you want to be. You hold the key to America's future. I have no doubt that you will take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities available to you. I know that you will do great things with your life and with your freedom. It is a precious gift to be an American citizen, embrace it my son.
