This project was motivated by the thought that we already possess the answers to all of the unresolved questions in our hearts. The answers are all just tucked away in little bundles that we haven't opened yet.

The base is an 8 inch wood art panel that is 1 1/4 inches thick that I stained. All of the paper I used in this project was old. I used pages from an old book published in the 1870s, thin onion skin paper that covered illustrations, and bits of packaging from watch part wrapping. The small tin in the center is a vintage tin about 3/4” wide that held a pocket watch part, embossed with blue embossing powder. I found that embossing old paper is very easy because it is so thin.

I used several different stamp sets for the embossing. Some are listed below. Several are from a new Finnabair set called Dream Without Fear that is not on Sb.com yet. the stamp set used for the more intricate patterns is Blue Fern Studios and is called Ornamentals. I used the two large stamps on small pieces of paper capturing different parts of the design with each stamping.
