Oh, my! What a cool page to do! Love the page! If the gun is historically accurate (and I have no idea if it is) , I think it works! I, personally, don't think the upper right corner needs anything. I think inking the journaling strips might have provided a little balance to the page (I'm thinking an ink that would give the idea of old parchment?) , or even if the strips were attached with a mossy green brad on the left side of the strips (to bring down the green from the photo). However, I think it's a terrific page as it is!
