Journal: Kingfish Inn, on Orcas Island in the San Juan Archipelago, was built in 1902 with old growth clear fir beams and thick cedar siding. The Inn has 4 suites uniquely furnished with comfort in mind. The Inn offers amazing views of the West Sound, the marina, islands, and the snow topped Olympic Mountains in the distance.

Skull Island is a 2.5 acre uninhabited island located in Massacre Bay off the coast of Orcas Island. It was named for the found skulls and bones of a band of Lummi, who were killed by raiding Haida in 1848.
