This was an experimental card, but I decided it turned out well enough to give to a great-niece of mine.

Donna (Bonprof) gave me this large Prima cling stamp and I decided to try using TH distress ink pads as watercolors.

I stamped the girl onto Strathmore Watercolor paper which stamping doesn't turn out so clear on that textured paper but it was good enough for me. I then tapped my distress ink pad directly onto my craft sheet, squirted it with water and then dipped my paint brush into the ink and painted my girl! After I was done with that I then used some Stardust Stickles in a few places on my flowers. Can't see it too well in the picture.

Last, I folded a piece of plain white cardstock and then placed the cling stamp on the back side of the card and traced around it and cut it out leaving a fold on the side. I inked around the edges for contrast and then glued her down.

At the bottom of her dress you see some darker spots which are actually boo-boos. I am so mad at myself!! I went to clean the stamp with Ranger stamp cleaner, squeezed too hard and the top literally popped off spilling the stuff all over the place and I got just a little of it on the stamped girl. What a waste of good cleaner!!! Just about all of it is now gone. It was a mess to clean up!

Anyway, I like the look it gave it. Still makes it look like a watercolor painting!

Thank you Donna, for the stamp, and Marylou, for the Versafine black stamp pad!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting. I always appreciate your support and feedback. Hugs to all.
