These lighter backgrounds were made by using the inked stencils after making the pieces in the prior post. I misted the inked stencils with water and flipped them over onto cardstock. With a very light touch so the ink and water wouldn't move into the open areas, I used my finger to make sure the stencil made contact with the cardstock. I blotted with a paper towel before lifting off the stencil.
