Very, very elegant and beautiful! It reminds me of some of the lace shoppes we visited when in Paris! Love all the distressed edges and beautiful florals!
Oh my goodness!! This is a favorite for me, LC!! Don't usually see distressed edges from you and you did a great job of it! LOVE the papers, flowers, Eiffel Tower, lace and die cuts! Beautiful work!
I love your distressed edges. They have such a beautiful vintage look. My distressing looks like I just messed it up. I am amazed at the layers you have used, triple mat, lace background, inked frame and then that beautiful Eiffel tower. I know your mother loves this. No one does flowers like you do. They are perfection, as are the leaves. Great sentiment. This looks like it should be framed and hung on wall! Lovely.
How lovely to create a card for your mom that will hold such a special memory. IThe lace background is luxurious and adds the wonderful Parisian touch to this beauty. Gorgeous.
Your card is absolutely beautiful! I love all of your amazing details, like the Eiffel Tower sticker, the lace, and your distressing! (A spur-of-the-moment trip that my husband and I took to Paris - he was going on business and I met him there - was one of the most romantic times we have ever had! This reminded me of that! Thank you!!!!!)
This is drop-dead gorgeous. First- the colors are both soft and bright at the same time. Your flowers are so vintagey fabulous. Love how you did the centers. The lace with the diecut is the perfect backdrop for Your Eiffel Tower focal point. Love everything about this.
Be still my heart! So lovely & I knew Robin would like this card. Your distressing is perfect & love all the layers. The lace behind the tower is beautiful & your mom is going to treasure this! Such love you put into this for her!:)
This card is for my Mom. Quite a few years ago she and I took a trip to Europe and spent several days in Paris. We both have such special memories of our time there. I chose an Eiffel Tower sticker from Photoplay's Moments in Time collection for my focal point and paired it with coordinating prints from the same line. I sponged the sticker with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress inks then added a light coat of Delicata Champagne ink before sealing it with Distress micro glaze. I die cut a frame using a die from Creative Expressions by Sue Wilson and inked it lightly then added lace to its center opening before adding the sticker. I made flowers to match the ones in the background print. I also distressed the edges of the card and added a sentiment strip from Tim Holtz.
Thank you so very much for your kindness. It means more than I can say!
