Hi Tamaroo! :) Hehe, glad you like the story, when I was a little girl I thought that mountains were dinosaurs that had died and were covered with dirt over millions of years ;) The silhouetted mountains remind me of that sometimes, heh :)
The fossils are so cute too! I am saving the rest for another time, since I made a large purchase and could only afford so many of those items at one time.
I was surprised to see them out in the local store, too! I saw they were out at a store online (Scrapbook Express) and they have some good deals, but I didn't expect they would be at my store (who hadn't seemed to get any new Quickutz in for some time now).
They're so easy (unlike the QK four legged reindeer, if you've seen that one! Yikes!)
Hehe, we went to the La Brea Tarpits shortly after we'd been together for a couple of months :) It was great! :) I have some great pictures from there, if I ever get to actual scrapbooking (I make cards mostly) :)
What a cute story!!!
I can't believe you already got these. I told my Local Store I wanted all of them + the "bones"....we went on a dinosaur vacation last summer...Dinosaur Nat'l Monument, 6 dino museums, as well as other stuff and I must have them also. I was really glad I hadn't started working on our vacation book when I saw these come out!!!
Maybe if you get married you can take a dinosaur honeymoon!!!
Boyfriend and I have a history that's cute that has to do with dinosaurs and him saying that's when he knew it was love... (Standing on the top of his apartment building at night, admiring the starry night sky, the lit up L.A. skyscape and the silhouetted mountains and after a few minutes spent in silent admiration of the view I asked him, "What's your favorite dinosaur?" [Stegosaurus, btw, is both of our favorites, Lol] )
So these QK dino dies were an essential addition to my rapidly growing dies collection :)
Wild Asparagus paper, bazzil basics cardstock, jolee's sunflower and dragonfly, fiskars heart hole punch, paper shapers heart shaped punch run through Cuttlebug with Hearts Goosebumpz embossing folder. "Sunshine" limited edition set font, dark green w/ gold sparkles ribbon from Michael's and die cut shapes shaded with Pebbles, Inc. earth tone chalks.
