A tiny bird house has been on my mind for a while. It's kind of hodgepodge stuck together, which kind of fits. I would add an element look at then add something else. I knew it had to have a tin roof and a bell tower.

The tin roof I created using a 3-D texture fade that Laura gave me. I ran the embossing folder through my die machine, gessoed it black, dry brushed with acrylic paint, then rubbed Prima wax over the top. Love the effect it gave the roof so I repeat the same steps with the base and paper trim. The base is just glued together wood pieces.

I glued two tiny houses together to create a larger base before adding the second addition. The second addition is a little sideways, but that's okay it just adds to the hodgepodge bird house image. The chipboard base is a combination of sea glass, glass beads, black glitter and Renea Bouquet beads.

The bell in the bell tower and metal bits around the vine are from Pam. The purple bling is from Donnalyn...I've been waiting for just the right project to use that bling. The roadrunner on top of the bell tower is a vintage pin I found in a junk shop this past spring in Wilmington. I repurpose many things I find intriguing...bits of fibers, zippers, jewelry. I don't always know what I will use it for, but given enough time our imaginations will come up with a solution.

Thanks for supporting my vision.
