Really cute layout! The picture is great and I love the chickens and leaves ( Wow, that was a lot of stamping and coloring!) The background paper matches the red clay and tractor perfectly!
I can't say enough about how terrific this layout is! All the stamping, coloring and die cutting of the leaves and the chickens are amazing. I always like your creative ways of adding the pull-out journaling.
A great photo and it's on a delightfully different page that suits it perfectly. Nothing like a kids memories of "down on the farm". My family has family farming in it and those visits and photos are among my favorites. Love this one!!!!
Photo of my son with his Uncle Jerry (kzookeeper's hubby) in 1985. The background paper is from EP's A Walk in the Park collection. The leaves are all stamped (individual stems) with Altenew's Leafy Canopy stamp set. Colored them with Copics and then cut them out with the matching die cuts for the set. Photo is double matted with brown and green and the journaling pulls out from the bottom of the photo. The chickens and rooster were scanned into the Silhouette program and cut with the Cameo. Title letters are a combination of two old chipboard letter sets. The "ground and grass" around the chickens were drawn with Copic markers. Some of the leaves are popped up with foam tape for added dimension. Journaling reads:
Not sure why you were spending time at Aunt Betty and Uncle Jerry's house but your daddy and I must have gone off for a mini-vacation by ourselves. Whatever the reason, you three always enjoyed spending time in Griffin with Uncle Jerry and Aunt Betty. They always made sure you all had something fun to do! Looks like this visit included riding on the tractor... what more could a little boy (or a big boy) want! March 1985
