What a beautiful scene you have created. Terrific embossing. I have never tried the tinsel powders but it sounds like my experience with their holographic powder. The shiny bits don’t melt the same way. In any case, your bows turned out beautifully. Gorgeous card.
Can't you just imagine taking a seat on this old Victorian style bench amongst the Christmas trees?! :-)
I used a scrap of K & Company's Visions of Christmas (I have that old paper collection nearly used up!) Special thanks to Pam (FritillaryB) for the lamp posts and bows. They were white to start with and I embossed them with Zing Gold and the bows with Ranger Red Tinsel. I have to admit I'm disappointed with the Ranger Red Tinsel. It is so beautiful in the little jar but does not emboss well. I ended up having to rub TH Barn Door distress ink pad across the white paper and then try embossing it again. I was hoping for a real shiny red color but no such luck. It does have a little sparkly in it but does not stay on well. In the lights, I added Champagne Glitter Glass from now closed Gone Artsy. The little bow is a sticker from HL. The bench from Spellbinders is cut from DCWV's Mercury Glass collection and I added red pearls. Card base is Paper Studio's Blanc Boutique.
