I agree, the red makes the items pop. So do your brads and a lot of other elements on your page like, white font on black paper, the repetition of "49 forever," and the numbers in your title. A nice way to highlight your man.

On my DH's 49th birthday I asked him to share what he wanted to remember about the last year. He came up with a list, with one added detail...he is staying 49 forever. I did this LO for the Black and White Challenge. I used red as a highlight color because it made the items pop. The photo is of him sitting on his new Harley Davidson Street Glide, one of his items.
