This is my first attempt at a lace journal. Although I have made a lot of mini albums, this is the first thing that I have attempted that is primarily fabric and lace. There are photo mats, but the majority of the pockets contain journaling cards or mini journals. There are four mini journals hidden in pockets. Each mini is a single signature of 10 pages sewn with pamphlet stitch. The tiny lace edging each mini is from our friend Laura. She used this on loaded envelope she made for me last spring and sent me some.
