This is the flip side of Horace Stanley McCoy's WWI LO. Following WWI Horace became a Sports writer in Dallas, TX and he covered about every type of sport. Later, he went to Hollywood where he worked for Paramount Studios as a screenwriter. Then in 1935 he wrote "The Shoot Horses Don't They?" which is a novel about the depression. He wrote several crime novels as well. Unfortunately, he died young at 57 with a sudden heart attack and did not live to see his novel made into a film directed by Sydney Pollack. Sad when that happens to an artist! The small photo is him about 1935 and the larger is later.
