Christmas Angel Tag Swap for Laura

I had so much fun making this tag for Laura (Lauralsattic) who was my swap partner hosted by Donna (Bonprof). First of all, I would like to thank our very own Sandi Staton for the sweet angel image that she made and shared with us here on sb.com. I've had this image for at least a year and finally put it to use!

Background paper is DCWV's Old World Stack 8x8 paper collection. I masked over it using TH Flourish Layering Stencil with Finnabair White Crackle Texture Paste. My thoughts on this...it is too runny to suit me and I just now got to wondering if it would thicken it up by using some corn starch mixed in it.

I then added my pearl trim and laces (white from Hobby Lobby and red from Pamela Joy Boutique). I diecut the poinsettias. The red holographic paper is from a wine bottle bag my youngest son got with a gift in it. I thought it was so pretty. The white flower is Paper Studio's Blanc Boutique. I added Cranberry Beautiful Beads from Reneabouquets to the center of the white flower. The gold centers are stickers from HL. The doily is Dusty Attic. I embossed it with Ranger Verdigris and then spots of Stampendous Shabby White embossing powders. I added stickles to the angel wing and soft feathers underneath. The strands of pearls in the floral spray and to hang the tag were from my sis-in-law. The little angel button was from Walmart.
