I am in awe of your photo collage! Absolutely wonderful multi-photo 2 pager. Sorry for your looss - hope these pages will remind you of the good times!
Hi!! Nice layout!! I've done this type before and takes a lot of math to get the photos/papers right! Great work! Love your title work too. It just stands out so much! Love it. Looks like you guys had a great day, :)
These are photos from a fishing outing with my friends from August 2010. Journaling says: Patrick, Keith, Scott, & I headed up to Ontonagon before dawn to spend the day fishing Lake Superior. It was amazing - I'm so glad I got to go this time!
The last 3 LO's I've done have included my friend Patrick. They have been hard for me. This was a special day - it was my first (and so far only) time going out on a boat on one of the Great Lakes, and my first and only time deep water fishing for trout. It has since become even more meaningful for me because it turned out to be my last time fishing with Pat, and these are my last photos of him. The top 4x6 photo is of him. He was killed in a snowmobiling accident in January 2012 - less than a year and a half after these photos. I miss him every day.
I used 26 photos here - 2 4x6's and the rest 2x3's. They are all edged with black Sharpie. I used scraps to fill in the patchwork. The title was cut using the Opposites Attract cart on my Cricut. (Note: the title has nothing to do with any statements made by the sitting president. It is what fisherman call large bodies of water.) I used small letters to place a few captions around the page: Lake Trout, Ontonagon River, Porcupine Mtns, August 26. I doodled a faux stitch border around the page. TFL!
