This is the kind of lo I like! Your story is fabulous and I loved reading the journaling - this is exactly why journaling is so important! Cool design and I like all of the layering.
These are the things we treasure for years, all the lovely work that went into the bedroom. How fun it will be to look back on these and remember what was, for now we are living what is!!
This is for DGD's album. We bought her - her first bed. I wrote the journaling like a letter to her. Journaling: Dear Roxanne, In August 1996, Papa & I drove up to Bremerton for a visit. In our van was an early birthday gift for you - a new bed & mattress! You had been sleeping on the floor on a futon mattress. It was a girly bed with a canopy. We also bought sheets, comforter & ruffled canopy in the Disney Pocahontas print - she was your favorite! When Papa had finished putting together your bed, we went to work repairing BK's bed which had originally been your Dad's bed. When he finished it looked like a new bed! After making up the beds & moving furniture around, it looked like a new room! Love, Oma
