After losing Baxter I thought it was important to make the most of the time I had left with Copper. I took him on walks on and off leash by himself. Blossom had so much more energy and this way I could really focus on Copper at the off-leash areas and allow him to do what he wanted. I treid to take him new places and allow him to have fun. He had the freedom to do what he wanted and he could go as slow as he wanted and go where he wanted.
He was starting to get down as a result of having some illness issues himself and the walks greatly improved his moods! He loved them and was much happier and was becoming the happy go lucky dog he was before. He did mourn Baxter and they helped bring him out of his blues. Little did I know that a month after losing Baxter I would be saying goodbye to Copper. At least i know they are together.
