So creative. Great idea to try a paper lantern. I have never had much luck with paper mache either. I like the yellow button on the balloon part that sort of ties into the colors of the flowers and the tassels of course.

Hot Air Balloon

I made this hot air balloon floral arrangement to give as a Christmas gift to my girlfriend’s mom. I got the idea from Pinterest. Also you can find lots of YouTube videos on how to make them. Originally I decided to paper mache the balloon, but something went wrong. So I decided to use a Chinese lantern which worked. I’m proud of myself for a first attempt. Inexpensive gift to make.
