More early family Christmas pictures. Suzy cat was not allowed in the house. EVER! My mom grew up on a farm and had a strict "No animals in the house" policy.
I begged for a cat for years and years. Finally they agreed and answered an ad in the paper that had a littler of kittens to get away. I insisted on the mama cat. No talking me into a kitten, I wanted the mama and named her Suzy.
That is when they found out I was allergic to cats and I sneezed and my nose ran constantly. Then one morning - more kitties! Suzy had a beautiful litter of kittens and my allergies were completely out of control.
I came home from kindergarten one day to find Suzy and all the kittens gone - my parents took her and her family to the pound. I was heartbroken and just didn't understand that it was Suzy who was making me so sick.
