This little red rocking chair was made by a neighbor on the farm next to my grandparents. My grandpa paid him to make it for Christmas for my mother when she was about 4. Now it sits in my house with the same original red paint.
Our oldest granddaughter, Roan, used to love to sit in it when she visited when she was little and Makenzie, my oldest brother's youngest granddaughter loves to sit in it now.
Mom loved this page in her book with two of her great-granddaughters sitting in the char she had when she was little.
