Give a Cheer
Ok so this Florida girl LOVES snow. Crazy, but she can stay out in the cold for hours. She does this here at home every winter, but I figured actual cold weather and snow would be too much for her. Nope I had to drag her in kicking and screaming when I got too cold. LOL
This LO drove me crazy. I messed up several times, but it only forced more creativity and now I really like the way it turned out. At first I thought I was going to stitch the word winter right next to the picture on top of the snowflake BG, but it was so busy and messy that I wanted to change it, but I had already glued down (and peirced) the photo and the fringe bottom. Agh! Luckily I had an extra snowflake paper so I pulled cut out the word winter and down a new 7" of snowflakes over the original paper. I finished the stitching and relocated it and the picture. Then I decided I wanted to make a shaker box snow globe, but couldn't figure out what to put IN it. After several days, I gave up and glued it with just eh snow and green confetti trees. Of course then I found the wooden trees and it was perfect...after a little surgery on the back of my snow globe I had what I wanted. But it all still looked flat and lacking in depth. Then the green roses appeared and It was exactly what I needed....just black, white, and gold was oddly boring. Go figure!! So this LO was frustrating to say the least, mainly because I thought I knew exactly what I wanted when I started. Thats just how it goes sometimes.
