As I was re arranging my scrap studio and eliminating/consolidating boxes of photos I came across these random pictures of our little quilt group of ladies. The first one was taken in 1998 or maybe 99, the second one was taken a few years later. Now three of the ladies have passed and two are no longer a part of the group. While I no longer quilt we still get together a few times a year for lunch and catch up.
Because I was "cleaning my desk" and needed a break I scrapped quickly using one of the last 3 sheets of paper from MME Christmas pad and scraps, part of which were waiting to be filed, and rather than throw away that thin green circle cut that was a left over from the last layout I glued it down. I also used the greenery die cuts and silver star things that were on the top of my desk from other projects. The deer button/pin has been hanging around so I gave it a home!! I even used part of the paper pad cover to make the strip and banner cluster.
The red is an old K&Co paper, the solid card stock is Bazzill.
Title was cut using my Silhouette.
