Oh man...I remember snow dumps like that. Brrrr! Now on to your double...I LOVE it from the page design to the perfect accents. I love the loopy punching at the top. You made a terrific layout.
Great photos - I especially love the top left one with Cassie standing ground level with it up around her - gives a good perception of how deep it really is!
This is the third of 3 LO's about the Groundhog Day blizzard in February 2011. The journaling for all 3 LO's is on the first page (The Storm), which has photos taken during the blizzard. It talks about our experience and also gives facts about the storm's overall impact in Chicago and Illinois. The second page (The Aftermath) has photos taken after it was over. This page has photos from the next day (February 3), when we were finally able to start digging out the back yard.
For perspective, my daughter is standing on the patio, 2 steps down from the door level, in the first photo. You can see how deep it is. In the next shot, she's standing on a 3 foot decorative wall off the patio. Also, my fence is 5 1/2 feet tall.
I used a February 2011 PageMap. All the photos are edged with black Sharpie. I printed the date on vellum. The embellies say: Snow Angel, Snow Happy, and May we never forget the flavor of snowflakes -Author Unknown.
