YES I have been traveling almost every month for the past 18 mos and have had that happen--takes awhile to get going again! Your work is always so beautiful!....I hope you are doing well....
This is lovely and I'll bet the first try wasn't bad either, but I do understand: after a long time away from the craft table, it can take a while to find your mojo.
Love this tag Karen. The bird quote is fabulous. There must be something about January crafters block. I have half a dozen unfinished projects in my craft room.
So much to look at on this beautiful tag. Yes, that happens to me all the time which is why I have so many remakes and things that will never see the light of day, ha ha.
Oh sweet Karen, this is absolutely beautiful my friend! I have learned engueity all of my life, and I used to be intimidated by just using scraps. Not now, I'm so thankful for those scraps, lol.... they are fantastic, just as is this beautiful creation!!!!!
I make a lot of things that end up in a box to recycle LOL so yes I know what you mean! Love how ML described the birds chirping the words so I say ditto on her comment below! Beautiful!
First off, I am glad you are back home! Secondly, this is so sweet my Karen. I love how you punched the black paper, very creative & of course you know I love anything with birds. I love the verse & I truly think birds must chirp those words to each other. Glad to see you creating!:)
Hi friends. I am now home from an extended business trip and sat down to craft these past few days. May I tell you that the first thing I created, I really don't want to show you! (yikes) Does that ever happen to you? I had good intentions and (what I thought were) good ideas; but . . . it all went downhill. But, I gathered some things from around me and try try again - I made something I do like : )
The base ppr (roses) is older T. Holtz, I punched the strip of black cardstock, (heat embossed the postage), added some T. Holtz tissue ppr (nest) using Modge Podge, and the 'bird and words' are older Jenni Bowlin; 'pop-dotted' for dimention. I edged that with bits of cotton lace. There's a bow in there somewhere (twine : ) and I guess that's it. A simple start to my crafting for the new year~ Hugs and THANKS for peeking in! Any Q'ns please never hesitate to ask. I will get back ASAP Karen
