Okay, don't laugh! This photo was taken in the 70's.
Journaling: We grew up thinking everyone moved to a new house every two years; got their first military ID card on their 9th birthdays; had to travel to visit their grandparents; had a parent who wore a uniform to work; and jumped on their bikes to ride alone, with a sister or brother, to the pool for swim lessons.
I was in the sixth grade when I finally started school with civilian kids. I was very interested to hear about their massive quantities of cousins who lived in the same neighborhoods. I think they were just as fascinated with all the places I'd lived.
