My DS celebrating an art contest win by playing in the park.
Journaling reads: On our way to claim your prize for winning the Trolley Drawing Art Contest, we walked by the Issaquah Depot Park and stopped to play.
You adventured through all of your favorite playground equipment, especially the little train, but on this day you were especially fond of the rope climbing area, and took great pride in climbing to the top and monkey-ing around. You didn't even mind stopping for a moment so I could take your picture.
With winning first place in your division, winning free tickets to ride on the Trolley's Debut day, playing in the park on a cool spring day, and all of this happening just two blocks from our home, we all agreed that it was a pretty perfect day.
