My dad will be 85 in March, but this will be the first birthday without my mom by his side in almost 72 years. They met in 6th grade and have been lovingly devoted to each other ever since! We are proud of him and how he has carried on keeping busy with his music and life; with such a broken heart~

This is an eclectic mix of stash, but I've incorporated things that have meaning to me.
There is thread, stitching, and 'button' cards, remembering how my mom used to sew almost all our clothes.
The sheet music is a hint of my dad's musical abilities. He played 7 instruments in his lifetime, and is still playing the piano - and the clarinet in a band.
The ticket stub and filmstrip remind me of all the years they took us to symphony's and musicals~ I will fill the bag with his favorite candy; Tootsie Rolls!
