Give a Cheer
I used Tim Holtz's wrinkle free distress technique on the center piece. I dry embossed the background paper, then sanded it to reveal the core color. I used old school brads & an old chain to frame the sentiment. The sentiment is from Avery Elle's Brushed stamp set. It's covered with WOW embossing powder in Metallic Gold Rich. Mr. Huey's gold color mist was sprayed over the inked paper. I'm entering this card into these challenges: Artastic Challenge which is inspired by an art piece - Uniko Birthday Card Challenge - Virginia Lu's Show & Share to try something new. For the Artastic Challenge, I used the teal & neutral colors from the painting. Also, I think the basket weave texture reflects the cubism style of the painting. For Virginia's challenge, the ink technique was new to me.
