This is a glass block nightlight I created for my daughter for Christmas! It says, ...a dream can take you anywhere.
I picked up a 4x8 glass block at a home improvement store and had my husband drill a hole in it large enough to insert a small strand of white Christmas lights. Next, I wrapped a large ribbon around it and tied a bow. I attached a charm that says dream to the bow with ric-rak. For the front, I used a piece of vellum cut to the size of the block insert. With my ScraPerfect printing pouch, I lightly tapped the powder onto the vellum to help the ink stick to my vellum better. I printed out ...a dream can take you anywhere.. with pink ink right onto the vellum with my computer. The edges were painted with white paint and a rub-on placed under the journaling. So easy and makes a beautiful gift for any occasion!!
