Poem reads:
I hope my son looks back on today
and sees a mom who had time to play.
Dusting and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
for babies grow up as we've learned to our sorrow.
There will be years for cleaning and cooking
but children grow up when we're not looking.
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Journal: January 1985. Joshua was 8 weeks old in this photo. He and I were down in Pensacola visiting with Susan and Butch.

Joshua is our firstborn and I was so happy to finally be a mother! I was 26 years old and thought I was sooooo old... LOL! This "boy" will be 35 this November!!! Where do the years go????

PPs are from Authentique Beginnings collection. Border punch by EK Success. Wavy border cut with deco scissors. Thanks for stopping by :)
