I better not show this to DH or we will be on the road or maybe I should. It looks so interesting. You really captured this museum so well. Now, when we go, I will know what to see. I really like all the interesting facts you included on the pages. Well done and I learned so much.
Wonderfully done, and I love all the journaling. It's great that you have the information to go with your photos (I'm really bad about stuff like that). The pps and photos work perfectly together along with your embellies.
Love that pp and the stars - they couldn't be more perfect for the subject matter! As always, I enjoyed your journaling - the simulated experience sounds fascinating! I also like that you were able to catch the movie and the fact that it was narrated by Tom Selleck - how cool!
Those films and experiences really sound interesting. I would especially enjoy the ones to fly with the blues at mach speed. That would have been fascinating! I would say that you really enjoyed your time at the aviation museum. Bill and I see a good many aviation museums and have never been in one. Guess we'd better seriously think about it next time. You pages have really showed that they have a lot to offer!
Last page for the Naval Aviation Museum. I ended up doing 3 pocket pages (6 pages total) of more planes and journaling.
Very old stash. Cardstock is Paper Co (from Michael's before Recollections 11-12 yrs?), pp - Creative Imaginations (9-10 years), silver brads - square - Making Memories (I think), round ones ? . Punched stars pp?
Journaling: US Navy Aircraft Carriers - four-and-a-half acres of sovereign U.S. territory, anytime, anywhere.
After eating we went upstairs to see some of the exhibits there. There was a lot to see and unfortunately we didn't have the time to see all of them. We did see the Enterprise exhibit and take a simulated experience upon one – complete with noise and wind. Afterwards we went back downstairs as we wanted to see a movie in the giant screen theater . They show several the 4:00 show and the last of the day was the “Magic of Flight”- Fly with the Blues and experience the thrill of cruising the skies at Mach speed. Featuring cutting edge aerial photography, this is the story of human potential and the importance of training and performance. Narrated by Tom Selleck.
