This crazy card was a card class assignment to make a card with a beach theme. I just so happen to LOVE the beach (as much as I love glitter) and I love flamingoes. And my favorite color is pink. Woo-hoo, this card hit on all three!
The cute flamingo paper on the front came from Scrapbook.com. So did the palm tree paper I used inside. I also used lots of the Nuvo glitter drops.
I knew I wanted to do a pop-up or a spinner card, so I chose spinner and cut out paper scraps and glued together a rolling beach ball for the card's front. The spinner cards always take awhile for me. They either won't spin, or the element just drops down without spinning. Some of you have given me great suggestions/solutions and I thank you.
The flamingo on the inside was made from my neighbor's Cricut machine last year. It was laying around (dusty) and thankfully I found it. I got out two types of my pink glitter (which always results in a HUGE smile on my face) and went to town on the flamingo.
Enjoy! And remember "if you can be a flamingo - always be a flamingo".
