I love the way you do these summary pages. That calendar idea is so cool and looks like it is professionally done! As soon as I can get past the travel book I'm working on, I'm going to attempt one of these calendar pages! I love them!
I always do monthly summary pages in my albums as an overview and to include random odds and ends, if I have any, that won't fit on other LO's. Usually, I choose some theme or format that carries over all 12 LO's, but for 2011 they are more of a hodge podge. I attended a class at a LSS at the end of 2010, and we made a little 2011 desk calendar that fit in a CD case, so I'm using those calendar pages. I'm also using a calendar table from MS Word that I put our schedule in and printed on cs. Those are the only things that will carry across all 12 LO's. I didn't choose the papers for the calendar, so some I like more than others. The monthly pages I did for '06, '07, '08, '09, '10, and '13 are in the Month LO's album in my gallery.
For this one, I made a pocket behind the large pp piece for a note from a friend that I wanted to save and a tag with some additional info from the month written on it. There's a movie ticket stub tucked behind the side of the calendar. I have no idea what the scrapbooking tool pictures were for. I'm assuming something for NSD that year, but I didn't upload them here at the time, so maybe not. Who knows. Anyway, I wanted to keep them, so they ended up here. The top is a few stamps, and the bottom is my punch cabinet. The other photo was a pix message from a friend of himself and his son. I sewed a few buttons to fill the empty space at the bottom. TFL
