This is really beautiful. I agree with Groovy Deborah it is so sad to see your loved one changing and the stress must be horrible. Bless you and your family. Hugs from another frustrated scrap booker who has not created much lately.
Your work here is lovely and I hope that your scrapbooking gives you a distraction if for a little while from the tough position you are in, Taking care of our loved ones is an honor but it is also tiring and stressful. I took care of both parents until they passed and I understand how bad you probably need the diversion. I don't know how far along your mom is in the Dementia but there are coloring books out for Dementia patients if your mom is able to craft a little too. Sending hugs!
Very much a fave for me my friend! Every inch is beautiful and artfully placed! (I'm trying to know what the transparency was; is it the bkgd behind the framed photos?) The sentiment is precious to me. Beautiful work~
Beautiful page, Sharon. I'm so sorry about your mom... been there... done that... It's so sad when this happens with our parents. Both of Jerry's parents suffered from dementia/Alzheimer issues. It was so hard to see them going through that and having to make that tough decision to put them in a home. My mother didn't really have any memory issues, just very frail and subject to falling, so we had to put her in a home those last few months. Very hard :( You will be in my prayers.
Creatively designed page!! Beautiful! Prayers for you, your Mom and family. My Mom had dementia. I missed her while she was still with us and of course miss her terribly now. So sorry your going through this rough time.
Hi everyone, Today I am sharing a layout I made using Scrap FX chipboard pieces, a transparency, and a stencil. I used photos of John and I taken in December of 2017. For more details, please visit my blog post here: http://thatgirlfritchey.blogspot.com/2019/03/two-love-layouts-for-scrap-fx.html
I would like you all to know that I am very sorry for not commenting on all of your beautiful projects. My mom's dementia has progressed and we are in the process of selling her home. We recently moved her into a more appropriate "Memory Unit" at the senior home she is residing in to keep her safe. We love her so much, and it has been heartbreaking and tiring, so please forgive me for not visiting and commenting on all of your wonderful work. Hopefully, I will be back soon.
