Clinton D. Steele Sr served over 50 years as
a bandmaster for the Salvation Army. As a
trombonist, he played in The Salvation Army
Band, the U.S. Navy Band and also with Tommy
Dorsey. He loved music and taught his grand-
children to play brass instruments.
