We learned how to make this type of card in my monthly card class. I wanted to try it at home, "unsupervised". I really enjoyed working with the bright paper from Echo Park. Since I used two types of Echo Park paper, I decided to enter this card in the NSD 2019 Echo Park Challenge.

The card is for one of my four incredible step-sisters who loves bright colors. I cut out the letters in her name by hand. I also made the window by hand. As most of you know, I don't have a die cutting machine (Yet). So I traced around a glass, and used my exacto knife. The white cake die-cut in the window is from (you guessed it) my neighbor Joy.

As always, I really appreciate you popping in to check out what I've been up to lately.... it's my favorite time of the year here now in Florida. The beautiful Spring temperatures are perfect for gardening, so my card making time has some serious competition (except when birthdays roll around for family and friends). It won't be long before we get stuck back in those 90-plus degree days that last till October (humidity 101%, LOL). But seriously, I do love it here.
