One of my favorite photos of me with my very longtime BFF and newer BFF. We had an epic slumber party at the house of one of them when I was visiting Seattle with the kids in 2017. (And by 'epic' I mean we didn't have kids or spouses to deal with, we sat and drank beer and gabbed and laughed all night.) In the morning, we were feeling sleepy and goofy and snapped this silly pic (among others to be scrapped later). When I got my April Music Inspiration song: Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise, I knew this was the photo for it. Aside from the fact that song came out when my longtime friend and I were in school together, the line 'even my momma thinks my mind is gone' jumped out at me and made me giggle because that's kinda what this is. I changed the journaling from some of the lyrics to fit and voila, page done! Whew!
Also for NSD Scrapbook challenge. My passion for scrapping is to reminisce on the photos and the moments as I'm scrapping them and preserve them in a way that lets me come back to them and reminisce again and again.
Lastly for May's Wooden embellie, Girls only and my Hoarders challenges, including the May NSD twist of old/new: Everything here is old old old except for the new sb.com stamps and the Jillibean die cuts, which I just got and LOVE!
