This is a Layout from our trip to the British Isles in June 2018. We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary. (Which is actually in November.)
The journaling reads:
Our flight out of San Diego Airport was at 6:30am. I had tried to check us in 24 hrs before our flight but, for some reason it wouldn’t let me. So, we checked in our bags in an outside check-in area. But, it still wouldn’t let US check in. They made us go in the “Special” line. This is the line that children are going without a parent, checking in guns…ect. So, VERY time consuming. We were starting to panic that we wouldn’t be able to catch our flight. People right and left were rescheduling their fights, while in line. We get to the front of the line, and the “lady” at the counter said we couldn’t check in because we were late…(which we had been in lines for at over an hour!) But, she tried and it went through. We for some reason we had PSA Pre-check which made us get through faster. We made it to the gate and again there was a problem with our checking in. The smart ticket agent realized that we had MY passport number attached to BOTH of our tickets. (Thank you, Air-to-Sea) She fixed it and we boarded the plane. As Don was putting are carry-ons in the above bin…He said “I left my back pack at TSA!” He told the flight attendant and she told him “Run!!” I was very concerned that they would leave without him and I had his passport!!! The plane loaded, I looked up and he was the last passenger to board with his back pack!!! I was hoping that it wasn’t “An Omen” for the rest of the trip.
