8.5x11 Genealogy Page

This is Idell Crabtree McDonald again, the mother of the McDonald kids I've been scraping. I had not planned another LO of Idell but this was an inviting photo to do. So I did it for FUN! Idell is younger here with pigtails and the flat of strawberries makes it interesting.

The Ivy and Bird Chipboard was gift from my friend Kelly a while back and also the Spellbinders Shadow Flower die set. I love how those worked for this page.

Papers are all Recollections Garden Harvest. The paper is printed on Kraft cardstock and embossed with clear embossing.

I'm not an expert with chipboard. I started out with paint and then embossed with Distress Embossing, then added crackle. After that I wasn't satisfied with the bird and re-embossed and re-crackled.
