This is gorgeous! I can sympathize with not being able to garden like I once did. Beautiful paper collection and the sentiment is so cute! Wow you are good with liquid pearls. I am impressed.
What a beautiful card!!!! I love pretty die cut on top and the butterfly below - a perfect way to embellish this pretty bit of paper!!!!
(And I love your PD quote; it put a smile on my face :) )
Glad to see you back. After me being gone for so long my mojo hasn't totally caught up with me yet! Beautiful, & you are right don't cover up that gorgeous paper! I am sure she will appreciate & cute sentiment inside!:)
This is a card I made for a sis-in-law who loved doing gardening and yard work. She is pretty much physically unable to do it anymore so I thought she would enjoy the lovely Stamperia Garden papers I used. I didn't want to cover up the pretty scene much so I used a lovely diecut from Laura (LauralsAttic) (thank you!) at the top and added liquid pearls to it as well as the flower centers. I diecut the butterfly using DCWV's Gauze 6x6 paper collection and added liquid pearls to the center also. I had the scrap of paper from the Garden collection and I stamp embossed the greeting using Ranger's Sage embossing powder. I cut it across the top and bottom with my Fiskars Ripple Scissors and inked the edges with TH Bundled Sage.
The inside sentiment is stamped using a Phyllis Diller quote....At my age, my back goes out more than I do!! LOL That's about the size of it too! I added Happy Birthday also.
This is the first project I've posted in 3 or 4 weeks. I went on a vacation to California to see my siblings and other family members as well as attend church meetings. I got back a week ago yesterday and finally able to make and post something. Thank you for stopping by my gallery!
