Love everything about this LO! The doodling, stamping, brads, etc. are just right. Papers are gorgeous as is the photo of you and your sweet Prince. I once had a cat who acted like a dog and it was awesome <3
Prince sounds like such a fun cat. I'm so sorry he is no longer with you.
You sure used a lot of cool things on your lo. I particularly like the stamping.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. You can see his affectionate side in the photo. He looks like a very lucky kitty have had you caring for him for so long. Liking all the stamped flowers. Also, the V shape of the paper pieces is unique and adds lots of interest to your LO too.
I had an all-black cat once, too. Such a sweet kitty, as it appears yours was as well. I know you miss him [hugs!]. Love the innovative look of your layout, especially the pen work and stamping.
I am truly sorry for the loss of your cat. A cat is a family member, just like a child. Prince will forever be in your heart and memory. Hugs my friend, fellow cat lover, Linda
So sorry for the loss of your beloved Prince. Your page is a delightful tribute to him. Love the design, the great stamping, and
that little journaling box is super cute.
Awesome tribute! The colors are beautiful and I love those flowers throughout! Love the journaling - you should enter this in the journaling challange (if you want to ;) ).
A loving and lovely tribute to your kitty cat. You can see the caring love in your face in the photo. Our pets are family members and the loss is great. Congrats on your win.
I won some new papers at the CSI-Colors stories and inspiration challenge blog--and am excited to use them in this layout. The pinks worked beautifully for this layout!
Just earlier this month I lost my cat Price, who I have had for over 10 years. So I wanted to do a tribute page about what made him a special cat.
Some of the papers are from my stash (chevron paper) and some are new (Pink piece Crate Paper-that I just won) The metal brads are hoarded (the paw prints and the kitty clip. I also did some stamping and added a little paint (blue and white) to highlight the stamping. Not to be sqaured--no squares in the background...used a circle and paper strips. For Hoarders--bg paper and brads are hoarded --Stamping on your layout--I used a dylusions stamp set (How does your garden grow) can't find it on this site to link.) --Sticker challenge-Used some of the new All heart cardstock stickers and puffy stickers. I also hand cut the circle and then drew outlines around the circle and the paper edges.
--Pet challenge, of course--my kitty prince.
CSI 282--traditional challenge--used all 5 colors, cat accent, paint, and metal accents (brads). I journaled about prince and some of the quirky things he used to do--I think sometimes he thought he was a dog. he would follow me around, root through the trash in search of any tasty scraps left behind and loved having his belly rubbed.
I also used the sketch provided on the CSI website, here: http://csichallenge.blogspot.com/
