Beautifully done, and that porch/platform all around the tree is just amazing. What a great, pivotal point for a town center. This looks like a great place to visit.
This is where we started out walking tour. pps & chipboard - Graphic 45, glitter glue - Ranger, rhinestones - Bazzill, brad - ?, date stamp - Dear Lizzy, ink - Tim Holtz. I fussy cut the flowers and small butterflies. The larger green butterfly is Craftsmith (Michaels). Flower punch - Paper Studios
Journaling: Walking Tour - We started our tour at the Biloxi Town Green. The 1st thing we notice - after the wood sculpture - is a raised platform encircling a live oak tree. The platform is known as a "shoo-fly". In earlier times these structures were common because they provided respite from insects & offered a cooler place to pass time & catch Glf breezes.
