This was a quick page using scraps and postcards of some of the sculptures. I made a pocket to stick the brochure in.
Journaling: As you drive down US Hwy 90 (Beach Blvd), you can view dozens of once beautiful live oaks transformed into sculpted works of art. International award winning "chainsaw artist", Dayton Scoggins of Mississippi, award winning "wood sculptor", Marlin Miller of Florida and Dayle Lewis of Indiana sculpted a variety of marine related objects out of these dead trees. Miller's efforts represent the majority of them and he refused reimbursement or payment for his public works of art. These postcards represent a few of the ones that can be seen on Hwy 90.
