Another card class assignment. The card was to be a BFF Card. Every month one of our cards is a "Swap" card and all of us put our cards in a box and draw one, keeping a card other than the one we made. This is fun, only many times, not to brag, but I want to keep my own. It's just that I work hard on my cards and I guess I just become mentally attached to them. Anyone else like this?

So you are allowed to not participate and can keep your card. I've done this four times in 12 months (we meet once a month).

Anyway, I'm keeping this one and giving it to my kind, patient, loving man who never ceases to amaze me. He truly is my BFF. I'm lucky to have had him in my life the past 15 years. He always displays the cards I make him and has saved every card I've ever made him. He is truly a real keeper....

The two layers of "BFF" letters on the front of the card are die cuts from my neighbor's machine (thanks, Joy) and I raised them with two layers of foam tape. I handcut the heart on the inside and raised it up too. The stamp is one of my favorites. I made the "Not a Hallmark" oval on the back. I looked into having a stamp made, but it just plain costs too much. I got the paper from here, use it a lot, and just love it. You should get some.

UPDATE:::: I can not believe it!!!! The paper I dearly love is discontinued! This seems to happen to me a lot. I'm going to search the Internet and see if someone else has it. (Heavy sigh.....)

Thanks for visiting and for listening to me ramble about loving my man.....
