Made for end of year gift for my daughter's History teacher (Hagans). Found out he loves dark purple and black so I decided to use grays and metallic silvers as my highlights. He's quite educated and witty so I think he'll appreciate this awesome quote I found online. Acrylic paints with lots of finger painting, stencils, many torn pieces of Tim Holtz tissue as bottom layer. Used my fave new color of paint “Night” (Dina Wakley) to add shadows to the odd shaped circles, etc. Many of my stencils are from stencilgirlproducts.com. If you think the canvas has a lot of splatters, you should see me! LOL! I just love the Dina Wakley heavy body paints because they actually stay raised up, giving an element of texture. For the hanger, I tore a strip of some gray writing fabric and nailed to the canvas with upholstery tacks.
Thank you all for always being so generous and kind with your comments and for sharing your art on here - you inspire me to keep pushing the envelope! Blessings! Debbie
