I wish my boys were in the picture with me but my oldest took this picture of me in my new dress at church before services started. Everyone likes how it turned out so I thought I would make a layout.

The very bottom layer is Colorbok, the papers with the roses are Stamperia's Precious collection (from scraps I had) and other papers are Refined Lovely Garden and Our Time from Ali. Matting under the picture is Stamperia's Dream.

I decided to ruffle up the edges of the layered papers by dampening the edges and using the pie crust technique with my fingers....a technique I first learned from Gabrielle Pollacco. I inked all the edges lightly using TH Picked Raspberry. I then decided to use one of my new Prima stencils (Swirly Florals) and Finnabair White Crackle Texture Paste. Before that dried I sprinkled on Vintage Pink Mica Powder, shook off the excess and then lightly blended it in using a dry paper towel.

The lovely intricate doily I cut in half and used on either side of the picture is from Aliexpress. The darker "prills" you see, I died using TH Raspberry on yellow mustard seeds!

Special thanks to: Laura (LauralsAttic) for the beautiful swirly diecuts and the diecut under the resin frame
Donna for the Reneabouquets Beautiful Beads and white resin roses
Carri for the Tu-Tu Pink Prills in the resin frame.

Also from Reneabouquets are the pretty dragonflies and lovely Victorian lady named Elisabeth (with an "s")!
Lace appliques under the flower in upper right corner of the picture and under the cameo are vintage from my wedding dress scraps.
Flowers, resin frame, bling buttons, tiny heart key and cameo are from HL.
I used Diamond Stickles on the flowers and Victorian lady to bling them up as well as inked the edges and raised edges of the flowers with TH Picked Raspberry to give them more color to match my dress.

Thank you so much for stopping by my gallery. Your support is very appreciated!!
