Lara and her dad
Journaling is tucked behind the photo and has an arrow pointing up. It reads: Although this photo was taken in the shade, I included it because it shows how close the relationship was for Lara and her daddy. They are in the rope swing in an old oak tree that provided cooling shade to the farm house before the days of air conditioning. There was a swing in this tree from my earliest memory to some time around 1985 when it had to be cut down. The structure in the background was for the quail that Granny and Grandpa raised.
